writers’ workshop
Writing can be difficult. As a matter of fact, many people find it excruciating. I started Writers’ Workshop after many years of mentoring and coaching writers how to write with clarity, honesty, and heart.
Just like a Hollywood writers’ room, in the workshop, I have created a safe space for students to write freely, without judgement or criticism. In the room, ideas flourish and pens glide without hesitation. In the room, collaboration, inspiration, and humor come together to create a foundation for believing in ideas and building on them.
In Writers’ Workshop students learn that words matter. And not only do they matter, but they have the ability to connect us all. Confucius said, “Education breeds confidence. Confidence breeds hope. Hope breeds peace.” Writers’ Workshop is my way of bringing about confidence, hope, and peace, through exploration and storytelling.
